Enville has been removing a lot of undergrowth to encourage heather return in some spots.
The greens on both courses have been hollow tined to 9 inches this month and sanded. This will be repeated to 7 inches in February and again to 5 inches in March.

My course is doing bunkerwork, as well as heavy tree pruning and other works. Why not? the course is quieter and better to do it now than at the height of the playing season.

Don’t forget the rope drainage on some of the greens - new bunkers are brutal , going to be some tears

Forgot that, amazed at how quick they installed it and got the green back in play.

Played a few holes last night and saw they’ve started doing two more bunkers on the 8th. Massive improvements to an already hugely improved course.

Could do with A new pothole bunker down on the practice ground 😀

My home club is a municipal and the leaseholder is more interested in development of non-golf/additional revenue streams. He's just got rid of the cafe/bar to a third party to run, so that's been having a refurb and the other current major works is a new pro shop which will sit on top of the driving range. The new shop will be a good thing as American Golf have already agreed to take it on, so we'll go from having a small area selling tees, balls and gloves in the cafe, to a fully stocked shop! It will also mean the driving range gets some new bays and a bit of a refurb which it desperately needs!
