But what is worse than anything that has gone on so far on this thread is that you are prepared to throw accusations around and then run away and hide when someone asks you to back up your accusations. Seems to be the typical cowardice of a keyboard warrior.

I don't think theres anything offensive per se, particularly not if the OP takes the comments in the spirit they are posted in. But does anyone actually know the OP? Is he a wind up merchant who loves a bit of a wind up and is currently sat spraying coffee over his keyboard with every answer. Or is he a young kid who is new to the game, perhaps with a learning difficulty, who is trying to get on in life and fit in with a group of people, who is now sat behind his monitor feeling very sorry for himself wondering what he asked that was so wrong?
I'm all for a bit of banter, the more scathing the better, but only with people who I know for sure are comfortable to take it, and give it back. All I'm saying is just think a bit before you hit reply.

I think if anything had crossed the line either a mod or mike would have been on to close the thread.
The op clearly isn't bothered about responding anymore as with most of their threads and for whatever reason that is no one knows but them. It does seem as though it was ment as a joke but if anyone is offended by the responses just don't read the tread no one is making you read it, we all have opinions everyone's is different otherwise the world would be a boring place.

1) To the OP, are you offended by any of the comments on this thread or have you taken them in the manner intended.....ie a bit of banter?
2) To adam..... you are entitled to your opinion but it just seems a little strange to me that you are accusing people of bullying etc when there has been no comment from the OP to back up your allegations.
Maybe people need to take a chill pill, as the majority of people on this thread have taken the comments as intended. There is a world of difference between bullying and banter.

To answer your question, yes it will wear off but it is purely cosmetic, it won't affect the performance of the club in any way :thup:

Seriously, you're fighting a losing battle trying to keep it non scratched. You play on a course with a bit of sand on the tee and you'll lose the finish. If you're that bothered tape it up, like they do with demo clubs. Alternatively just embrace it:thup:

This place requires a bit of banter or it becomes tedious, as I said the op hasn't complained about being picked on. You never know he might just take the posts in the way they were intended, you know, like a bit of fun
