There's banter and then there is abuse and bullying, when it gets to the point where new members like myself are not comfortable posting anything for sake of being ridiculed that has crossed a line.

Anyway I thought this was friendly helpful place, but it is quite obvious that it's not...

Funny how when I ask my mates why don't they play golf, their reason is "golf is full of w*****s"... It's becoming apparently clear that they are right.

I will say this on the subject, the OP has not come back in or complained about the banter.

Maybe some folk need to stop being offended by everything and anything :confused:

This place requires a bit of banter or it becomes tedious, as I said the op hasn't complained about being picked on. You never know he might just take the posts in the way they were intended, you know, like a bit of fun :mad:

Whether he was serious or not is irrelevent. 3 people on this thread have thought that some of the comments were out of order. 2 people have mentioned bullying.

If you want a banter thread where people can sail close to the mark then surely the OOB section would be more appropriate.

If I were a complete noob to this forum I wouldn't like reading some of this trash and would be put off, it's hardly a glowing portrayal of GM in my opinion.

Oh dear. Another thread heads west. Whether it was a wind up or not, some of the trash talking becomes farcical. Some of the early comments were comedy gold until people try and push the point and cross a line. If thinks it is irrelevant to a degree if the OP complained or not. Several others have felt uncomfy and whatever the topic and whether it is tongue in cheek or not that can't be a good state of affairs

Whether I agree with you or not I absolutely respect your right to have an opinion but I am interested to know which comments you feel crossed the line from banter to bullying.
 
I have the same problem with the winter mats at our place...

it's because I'm 6'3" and the mats aren't big enough for me to hit Driver and stand on the mat at the same time

PS

I liked the bubble wrap idea but I'm gonna go with keeping the head cover on

I've never said bullying, 2 others have. I was standing up for the rights/opinion of the little guys.

Some long standing members on here seem to have a holier that thou attitude and seem to write as though they rule to roost.

This is an open forum for ALL to express themselves. I think some people need to learn a little respect.
