Winter is coming!

I'm heading south on Thursday and I've got the sunblock looked out. I'm also taking a dozen bottles of water to wash my new clubs, I'm looking forward to it

well this morning here went something like this....
sunshine, snow, sunshine, hailstones, sunshine, snow, sunshine, rain... Hailstones:(

Went out today to cut my grass (there's a lot of it and it's overdue) and had to go in after 5 minutes to find a pair of gloves - it was horribly cold.

Played yesterday and the weather was about as good as it gets for this time of year.
When the sun was out it was glorious, bit chillier when it clouded over, but overall a very nice day.
As we walked into the clubhouse after the round it started snowing, albeit very light.

FA Youth Cup Final at Stamford Bridge last night, there was a thunderstorm around for about half the game and a hailstorm for the majority of the second half.

Glad to be missing golf this weekend. Still windy (very) and showery. Snowed in Reading briefly yesterday which dispersed the striking doctors for a while. Hard to get enthused about playing or practicing after work when it's so cold and blowy

To where? Back inside the hospital?? I'd have kicked them all out if they had moved inside the hospital.

Down in Sunny Surrey it is a lovely day but cold - even had a furry of snow yesterday. My egg man came round yesterday evening wrapped up as if winter - only last week he was dressed for summer :)
