The Dx2 and Dx3 have been my staple ball since I started playing. If you are looking for a very good, mid range ball then you will not find better. I use them all year round except when I treat myself to a box of FG Tour. The only ball I have tried that has come close is the Srixon Tri-Speed but they are up to 25% more expensive. Never been able to get on with the AD333. Got a box free on the Shout for Srixon comp but ended up trying one sleeve then gave them all away
Excellent thanks - just concerned to ensure they do not exaggerate my slice! Using callaway warbirds at the mo and I am hitting them straight but they are on the hard side.
They suit me better but everyone is different and some people find them too soft and other people will not hear a word against the AD333. Well worth a try and it you do not like them, I would happily buy any you have left.
I've had two dozen of the dx2 after recommendation on here and it's my ball of choice. I have been using the ad333 recently as I had quite a few knocking about(a dozen bought earlier in the year and another from the shout out) but there is something I just don't like, no idea what though!! I may try out some of the dx3 in the summer.
Both the Dx2 and the Dx3 are quality golf balls. I've been using them for two years now and I wouldn't look at another ball (unless I won the lottery and could afford Pro V1s!).
I use the Dx2 in the winter and the Dx3 in the summer.
I tried the Srixon AD333 and found it far too hard. It's fine for driving and fairway shots but chipping and putting became a lottery as the ball simply sprang off the club face and went miles past the pin.
The other good thing about the Wilson's is that you can get three dozen for £30 on the interwebnet.
Interesting post AW, during the winter I use ad333 and do suffer with what you have mentioned, but use the dx3 in the summer with no issues. Hmm maybe some 2's are in order
