I've watched this in the past and I have to say that they look like a right bunch of plonkers in those hats. Unfortunately they can't carry them off like Connery in Goldfinger, which was surely the inspiration. Just an excuse for a pose in my humble opinion.

It's a fantastic idea and has really grown since it started, the style doesn't suit everyone but it is good that everyone enters into the spirit and they all seem to be enjoying themselves. Don't know the format but the qualifying scores were pretty crap at the "just scraped in" end. 27 points got you a top 30 spot!!!!

Got to agree there - the "Golfsexy" range (cringingly grim name I know) has short-sleeved shirts at around £90, so £250 to get all that gear seems a bargin, even before you throw a round of golf in!
