Why is it...?

Why is it also that you can wake up at 5am and feel wide awake and great, but after another 3 hours of sleep feel tired out and absolutely lousy?

It's all down to whether you wake up during a dream sleep or during a deep sleep. Dream sleep has the near enough the same brain waves as being awake so much easier to wake up.
