Competition on Sunday and wondering whether I really want to play in it as I have a winter league final the following Sunday and I am not sure that a potential handicap cut is a good idea, should I have a decent round.

Well, on Saturday I'm very proudly taking my 6 year old Grandaughter for her very first putting lesson.

Having played lots with my plastic clubs, which I won on my early Society days, on the carpet in my lounge, she is very keen and getting very excited.

I'm going to have a putting lesson at the same time, just so she doesn't feel too much pressure.

She just loves ball games, her faourite colour is blue, not pink, and plays in her school football team!

The willow tree was not the problem, it was the 2 big hooks OOB off the tee that did it.

If you are at Woodhall you are welcome over on Sunday for a round if you want.

Playing at Shirland near Alfreton on Thursday in a pairs Society event. Hope I get drawn as the odd number cos I wouldn't wanna ruin anyone else's day. Might have a knock on Monday too depending on how the painting and decorating goes over the weekend.
