Spieths, because it was as spectacular as it was unexpected. He blew it when there was very little golf to be played. He blew it, with the benefit of already being a multi-major winner mature beyond his years. He blew it in 3 holes. McIlroys came with loads of questions - nervousness and mental capacity at that time played a huge part over 2 days, and was slow and painful (are we surprised by Smylies 'meltdown'?) - and everyone worried about his mental capacity thereafter. We didn't need to worry then, and I doubt very much we need to worry now.

Rory.

Spieth didn't have a meltdown. He hit one poor shot on 12, and followed it with an awful shot, and that was about it. Two shots with the resultant penalty drops and he was kippered.

Ok, he had a couple of bogeys on 10 & 11 but anyone can have a couple of bogeys.

Totally. And he showed some real balls to then make birdies to get right back in the mix. McIlroy kept making mistakes

Spieth had thrown in a double bogie from nowhere on each of the previous couple of days. Look at how he finished on Saturday. Some on here had written the tournament off when he was 6 under after 16. Then he handed 3 shots back. It was surprising but not shocking.
