OK working on the principle of local meets who would be up for a meet at Birds Hill in Maidenhead on either 29th Nov or 6th/13th December. Pretty sure we could get a couple of 4 balls for a morning round then onto the range to try some gear out. There is an AG attached which let you test clubs as well

I think local meets would probably be best then untill next year when GM may be able to take over.

Any suggestions for us in the North for a place to host the event?

You and the bloody Belfry :D

You know what, if your lad doesn't take you this year I WILL PERSOANLLY TAKE YOU :D

Where is trent lock? Do you have a link?

I went last year when I was looking for stroberg trousers. decent range, shop as a good selection of gear and the course looked ok from what I saw of it.

I'm sure there is someone local that can give a better feedback if they haved used the facility

For a southern do, I need to check dates tomorrow Homer, I have my diary at work. Not hugely interested in trying anything, but am happy to play a round anywhere I can get to. Always nice to put a face to a name.

not sure of dates as yet, and may have to be a late declaration, but if free I'd be interested in either of the southern venues. as with murph, less for trying or buying than for the game.

Rather be on for a game, than a range session. Much as it's nice to try other gear, I suspect that we all would secretly prefer to 'protect our babies', and try nice new kit instead. I'd be paranoid about scuffing someones driver at the range.
Southern meet I'm up for as I can't make the 30th Nov one. Depending on cost and location. Well that's if you'll have me again guys!!
