We came back from Lake Como last Weds. Had a cracking time. The biblical weather must have been after we left cos it wasnt too bad when we were there!

The water was up to the Armani shop on the corner with a raised walkway talkin you around the corner. We had a nice coffee sat at the resturaunt next door watching the kids paddling on the road and riding there bikes through the water.

Tongo, if you liked Como, have a look at Lake Maggiore, staying at Stresa or there abouts. Isola Bella is just fantastic a new favourite place. Maggiore is half an hour from Malpensa.

On my radar for next summer Tashyboy. Just got to persuade Mrs Tongo and we are there! Stresa is my preferred spot thus far.

Two hours to get home from Reading to Bracknell. Thanks SWT and to whoever decided to not stop at certain stations en route once the train has already left Reading.
