I really have to stop scanning posts, and read them properly. At first glance I read that as "cola"Wasn’t it you who suggested Coal Ila, or was it me who suggested it to you? Whichever, what a cracking drink.
I'm certain BrianM would pay the postage if that doesn't work!Classy!!
I'm struggling with a nearly full decanter of Lagavulin distillers edition, bit too peaty for my taste...I might put the kettle on and give it a try with the Tetleys!
For my recent BIG birthday I was given a bottle of Ardbeg Corryvreckan
Absolutely stunning so it is.
It has other qualities that make it enjoyable though - lovely richness from the casks. So one for either side of a meal compared to 'end of evening'.Thanks. Bunnahabhain was the one that wasn't on my list as its USP of not being peaty & smoky totally defeats the point of an Islay whisky for me....
Love a good dram, got Old Pultney and Glenfiddich on the go at the moment.
The Speysides are my personal favourite, vague I know, but so many good ones ??
