So Mercedes driver Mr Lewis Hamilton pits into the Mclaren garage instead of Mercedes.......

Quack Quack Ooops:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Sat watching it and I am trying to get into it but all I see is cars going around a track, tyre changing and no overtaking.

High speed chess.

Mindnumbing.

What's the point I am missing anyone? There must be more to it than I am seeing surely?

Nope, dull as dishwater. When does the motoGP season start?

Funny seeing Lewis go "home"! There was some latter scrapping between team-mates but otherwise it's boring and only desperation made me switch it on!

Funny though that the guy who disobeyed team orders provided the only excitement in the whole race while the guy who followed them (Rosberg) only demonstrated what a farce this "sport" is.

It wasn't the best race for fans to watch other than the RB scrap, Alonso's incident and the Force India pit issues. It was funny to see Lewis pit at McLaren though. Button's race was spoiled by a pit stop too. Where was Raikkonen? nowhere to be seen.

Always loved my motorsports and been lucky enough to get in the pit lane for the British grand price at silver stone thanks toa good friend being an aerodynamics engineer for Force India.

Even he working in the industry agrees these days it's more about the constructors than the drivers. Gone are the days where it was purely the guy with the biggest wotsits having the guts to find a gap. Much more about whose got the better car and most dosh to pile into car changes.

Much more into my bike racing now as it more exciting than F1 these days, some good bike races up at Snetterton if race fans fancy a good day out. Friend of mine racked up a podium there yesterday coming 3rd in class in a snow ravaged race now that does take balls!

Pleased thats staying with Sky... Eurosports coverage of the SGP this weekend was absolutely dire and not worthy of what looked a great event...

NO.. the meeting was dire the coverage was OK. Eurosport takes their feed from others the same as sky, with the exception of Cardiff, instead of returning to the studio after every four heats we got to see a review of what had happened. I feel the commentary was a lot more informative than that of Sky, but you'll be pleased to know that Nigel and Kelvin will be back when the series returns to Europe

i thought in the middle of the race it was getting good, to be honest vettel had the right idea, he wasn't gonna settle for second when he could take webber but he did do it on the fly. As for mercedes playing for hamilton to finish 3rd was a joke, roseberg could have been closer to red bull.

user2009 - Raikkonen is bit of a lose cannon, he wasnt in it one bit today

Lotus got the tyre strategy wrong this week, then kimi wasn't at his best either. However, as Alonso proved last season its all about accumulating points when the chips are down!
Vettel just proved how petulant and spoilt he is at RBR, I hope they punish him in some way but suspect they won't.

As for F1 being 'boring' I don't think it is, I quite enjoy the technical aspect and the development race, although I do think that it needs another team performing to Red Bulls level.

I did watch on 'full throttle' slowing down only to watch the races... Did catch the bit where one of the commentators was having to explain to the other what the exclusion lights were about ... Also don't re-collect seeing any pit lane interviews which was/is an important part of Sky's coverage... Anyways a good event for the old guard and Tai did good... Hoping to get to Cardiff again this year... Top day out ...

Found it hard to watch since the Senna, Prost, Mansell and early Schumacher days. MotoGP, British Superbike and sometimes World Superbike for us these days.

Roll on 5th April.

Today's fiasco would be like Valentino Rossi stopping at the Ducati garage during a flag to flag race!

So is overtaking not allowed any more...?
I thought Team orders were outlawed - or has it been bought back in.

Let them race - whoever gets past the post first wins - that's what racing's about isn't it?

Team orders are ok now, the issue was that they were all (both Mercedes and RB drivers) under instruction to conserve fuel and bring the cars in safely, common sense as far as the team standing go but a bit lame to see a procession. Rosberg could have easily taken Hamilton, must have been so frustrating
