Which Sun Mountain??

After seeking some advice on here about stand bags, I've decided on a Sun Mountain.
It's between either the four5 bag or the H2NO (the White one posted on the previous post was quality).

Has anybody got any experience with either bag before I splash out?

I play with a fella occaisionally at the gc and he ahs the h2no in black, says its the best bag he has had, I wanted one but couldnt get one here, would have had to order online, so wife got me a tm one for christmas instead.

Sun Mountain make all lot of the other manufacturers bags says me who used to work for them.

I was originally going to go for the Four5 bag however I didn't fancy the 14 way club divider system, one, because I use a 2thumb putter grip and two, because I know it would eventually do my head in.

Its also a beautiful looking bag however I have no regrets about buying the H2NO bag, its been a great bag and its featherweight!

Homer,

You will never ever in a million years get a totally waterproof golf bag. Rain and water gets in taking clubs in and out. Water gets on your shafts hitting the shot and that transfers water inside the bag.

However have all the pockets stayed dry? Yes absolutely 100%! Fantastic.

I must be the first person ever to ask for opinions on certain kit.

I suppose, get over the fact that it is just a plastic and nylon sleeve to carry your clubs in and won't make an iota of difference to your golf.

Maybe it's me? Maybe I am getting old? Maybe it's the fact that I have never given more than 10 seconds thought to what bag I need to buy.

You agonise away though.. each to their own and all that..

I accept that. I think I phrased it badly. Most carry bags are very bad at letting even light misty drizzle in and so anything that keeps the majority of the stuff dry must be worth looking at. If all the pockets stay dry then happy, happy days and I guess what I was looking for in my post

the zips on the pockets are sealed so no leakage there.


and not all the plastic and nylon sleeves to carry clubs are the same, some are badly made or have very ungenerous pockets (Wilson take note!). it's nice to know these things

Just wondering what you must be like when buying something like a house or car?? Must take years!
