Which forumer has the lowest/highest driver loft?

I use a boring old 10 degree driver now but in the past the highest loft that I had was 13 degrees on a Nike Sumo Lucky 13 driver.

I win so far. I have a Ping G15 13.5 degree head.

Why???

Because I normally hit it past my playing partners who are at least 5 handicap shots below me and I am the only one consistently on the correct fairway. I was fitted for this driver and am very comfortable with it. For some reason I struggle with lower lofts so my hitting a 10.5 would like everyone else here hitting a 6.5 degree driver.

I use an 8.5* with a low launch and low spin shaft. I have this set up as I hit the ball very high and with a lot of spin, this stops me from ballooning the ball to much. I averaged over 67% fairways hit last year and so far I am at 72% hit. I don't even count the first cut like a lot of people do. I not what you would call a short hitter either.

Robin ... Your "angle of attack" or how steep :blah: (I'm not sure what the anoraks on here would call it) but you could well be swinging that 3 wood and taking some loft off it. Each to their own, there can't be a lot of folk on here with a pendulum type swing so take some advice with a pinch of salt.

Cheers Stevie.

I tried a Cleveland Black yesterday, a very nice, light club. A member I was playing with had it although it was 10.5 and regular I hit it pretty well. I might go and try a 9* with the stiff shaft as that's exactly the same shaft as what I have on my 3w & 5w so, watch this space
