Following from the debate about to carry or trolley i am up for both carry and electric but not pull trolleys ever again! I like my electric but also want to carry from time to time so am thinking of one of the new super light bags.

The titliest and the sun mountain ones look nice but wonder if anyone has any super experience of the new bags on offer?

I use the Nike Sasquatch and love it. Slightly heavier than some of the other models but 14 way divider and plenty of pockets counteracted that for me. If you shop around you can often find them for £80-£90.

I have had 2 Ping Hoofer Lightweight Stand Bags and they have both been superb and very hardwearing. Would certainly recommend them.

Did the same for a while, wore a hole in my Lyle & Scott at the shoulder with my Ping Latitude carry bag. Final decision buy a Powakaddy Twinline 3 push trolley and never have to keep changing clubs waterproofs etc from bag to bag. Bliss!!!!!!!

The sasquatch is rubbish. the stitching in the dividers rip so easily and then damage the shafts

I have a Ping carry bag (with stand) and, um, it's not done too well t.b.h. all the zip pulls have fallen off, the legs are wonky and there are one or two rips....

Sorry Ping. Not a great product.

Quite a few of the major brands make bags that don't seem to last so well. I tend to go for other makes now t.b.h.

Ogio - wire stand?

I've got the latest Wilson lightweight carry (Featherlite I think). Very light at only 3.5 lbs, but it's not very waterproof. Mind you, none of them are imo, they all get sodden if it's persisting down.

I have an Ogio cart bag, very good well designed wood recommend one.
My course often has a trolley ban when wet to protect the course, so for the last few weeks I have been using a nike Sasquatch. Now I must say that overall it is a very good bag, well designed, has ample storage and a 14way divider that is very handy.
If I had one critisim, it would be that it is pretty heavy.
I have hust ordered a Sun Mountin H2no bag from my pro for £80. Sun mountain I believe are the lightest bags and this one is supposed to be totally water proof. They do have a reputation for having rubbish Zips though.
Hope this helps.

My brother has recently bought a callaway carry bag, the one with the tripod stand. It is the best overall bag i've seen and has done well in magazine reviews. It has 14 dividers, the stand is the most stable and reliable there is, it has really good pockets including a cool pocket and a specified valuables pocket that is very secure. Also it is very light with a decent double strap and looks great.
I think i'd be tempted to get one of these if I was in the market for a new bag (and it wont be long until I am).
