I'm still here; survived my trip into enemy territory (my mission, I chose to accept it), and am back ranging it and cruising the fairways.

plus Johnny-Five is alive!!!

My G5 is a real beaut......nicer flight than the FT-3 and even some fades. I have to say the green 65g Aldila NVS is much more to my liking than the orange 55g. Sweet shaft, and a sweet club.....hard to believe Mr Callaway has been cured of his obsession.....now maybe some Ping irons?

Been busy for the last 3 weeks renovating a flat. Only 2 rounds of golf and none of the usual energy to devote to the forum. Will be back up to speed in a month. Lost track completely. Who are you lot ;-) ??!!

Took the day off, with the excuse that I had an appointment with the mortage lender; I did but not until 2.30. I could have worked the morning I suppose but I thought an early round would be far more congenial (healthier too).

Therefore out at 7:45, just in time for a light snow flurry, a 10 minute shower around the 8th and 9th but once this was over glorious sunshine. Hit some fine drives, still problems with irons but kept it under 100.

Post meeting, thought about some range time but decided on another 9 holes - improved the morning's back-nine score by three; kept up the driving. Averaged 2-putts over the 27 holes.
