Ahh the joys of being a soft southener. those five minutes of light snow on my way in to work constitutes the cold spell for this week. Means my course will be open for my day off later in the week.
My condolonces to those under snow and unable to play. Hope it thaws soon
Was on one of my invountary days off today so nipped out for a quick 18 holes (scored pretty badly) now getting ready for a job interview later on this afternoon.
I was out playing golf, It was lovely until we got stuck behind 4 old farts, not once did they look round to let us through. I shall keep it clean but I could do with washing my mouth out from what I was saying under my breath
Got my first game back (post-injury) booked for Friday. Seems there's 32 corporates heading out in front of us with the last group teeing off half an hour before us.
We're not into racing round but are already having a sweep on how many holes it takes us to catch them and how far through the wobbly hackertrain we get before the 18th.
I say three but getting stuck in the third compartment until we pull in at platform 19.
Well hang back and mop up the greens either way. I'm not having someone goosing the girlfriend....'fer a laff'. Violence is so unbecoming on a fairway.
It's sharing the sauna and hydrobath afterwards with 32 half p1ssed, hairy @rsed mobile phone salesmen from Ditton singing 'Swing low' that scares the bejesus out of me
I am a solicitor and the interview went pretty well. Hopefully will be in touch for a second meeting soon. 18 holes before the interview certainly meant that I went in relaxed. Will have to try that technique again.
Been home from work a couple of hours. Had my tea and a refreshing shower. Now sitting on the sofa, laptop on knee, footie on the telly.
Well chilled out.
I never get the opportunity to log in during working hours, good job really as I think my workload would diminish markedly!
Worked 6 till 2 then went to the course which was empty so played the front nine of The Montgomerie, 3 over for the nine and happy with that. Had my tea with H.I.D. and now watching the Arsenal match with the laptop on. Will be doing the same tomorrow.
