Can anybody help?
As a relative novice driving was actually a strength of my game. However, as I have improved, my drives are costing me a number of shots per round. For example, I was net -1 in our monthly medal yesterday having hit driver/3W and lost a ball on two holes and only finding the fairway (a long way back) on about 4 holes.
Every other club in the bag is playing fantastically at the moment, but I just cannot get the ball off the tee. The problem persists when I drop down to a 3W.
My bad shot is even consistent. A low squirty hook is just as common as a high slice. My straight shot comes off at a very low trajectory and is very short for distance.
Any thoughts appreciated!
