As my course was closed today for the Senior Open ,i had a free voucher kicking about for a local cours called Strathmore GC,gave them a call first think and i got on at 10.30 with some mates.

Well i went round in 78 +8 and had 4 3 putts which was annoying but not down heartning as i hit the ball like a porn star ,long and straight ,roll on the medal at the weekend.

Watched this guy clear the 16th green in to the car park by miles he was lucky it never hit anything as there was some nice motors there,i told him where his ball went his reply was i must have got a bad bounce ,i couldn't stop laughing ,what a tit

Steve I know how you feel......69 scratch on Sunday in a howling gale,pegged it up in Pro-Am today and flat topped it off the 1st tee.....just far enough to stop the cock oot!

After that I had 5 birdies,6 pars and a whole pile of unadulterated pish!!

No consistency to my game at all but not playing doesn't help at all.

Loved every minute of it though!

Class mate have not played much either due to work and not being arsed really but seem to have got the bug again,it doesn't take much, not doubt will hack it about at the weekend tho
