Managed to wrap my Mizuno MX20 t-zoid 5 iron round a tree.

Where can I buy single irons, done a google search and seems loads of providers in USA but not UK ??

Thanks
Tom

Argghhh! i didnt realise you could re-shaft irons!! what an idiot.

How do they remove the existing head from the shaft ?

You could pop it in a pot of simmering water with a touch of salt and pepper and some extra virgin olive oil. The heat from the water will melt the glue
After a few minutes, carefully remove using a towel and the head should just slide off.
As with all hot things, the head, shaft and water will be hot.

The salt, pepper and extra virgin olive oil are optional and purely down to your own taste.

Or a blow touch... heat up the neck of the club. I would get a pro to do it though.

Christ who'd use golfbidder with the stupid high prices? They offer peanuts as well, ebay all the way for me.
Just reshaft it yourself, it's a piece of cake, loads on youtube how to to it.

this may help http://www.golfworks.com/images/art/Mizuno09.pdf

I offered it as a route to go down because I know from the past members at my club have been able to source individual clubs through them as a one off purchase and you aren't paying your so called stupid high prices. If you'd read the OP's thread he says he discarded the club as he didn't think you could fix it so hardly in a position to reshaft

This is exactly what happened to me last month. After finding out on here that clubs can be re-shafted, I rang the pro and the head was handed in by the guys behind me. Club now good as new - worth a call to see if it's been handed in maybe?

This is unbelievable, i have just snapped the head of my driver at the range!!!! Arghh!!!! the club as been sounding a bit clunky since Saturday and it snapped off at the hosel at impact. Is this a freak or does it happen (ping k15 with stiff manufacturers shaft). The range pro is going to try and get the bit of shaft out of the hosel and reshaft it. Should of took a pic as it looked ugly.

Oh, I did try golfbidder for the individual iron but wouldn't sell me a individual club. Think I'm going to have to suffer without until the bank balance warrants a new set.
