When you go to the range............

I usually go in my lunch hour so wear my work gear, except for shoes.

I have a pair of FJ AQL's that live in the boot of my car. I'll just slip these on when I get into the bay I'm using.

As im normally full of dust from work its a no no for me to go i my work gear.... Id kind of look a little funny i safety boots and snickers work gear swinging a club:lol:
So it home for a shower and a change into pants a polo and i bring my golf shoes with me and change at the range.....

Jeans or cargo type pants and a T-shirt for me. Used to always take my golf shoes with me but I bought some Ecco street shoes so that I didn't have to bother changing them when I got there. My pro actually suggests wearing sandshoe type trainers to work on your balance.

I've never actually thought of 'golf attire' - I tend to wear a polo shirt rather than t-shirt anyway and other than not wearing jeans on the course doubt I dress much differently off the course to on it - so normal clothes for me at the range or course
- do usually wear my Ecco streets if I'm hitting balls at the range though

I wear golf trousers for sure. will wear a climacool golf top if it is really hot (so I don't overheat or sweat too much) otherwise I wear a teeshirt. Will wear my trainers as they aren't slippy but I also have spikeless golf shoes that I will wear if I remember.

I am pretty confident that more often than not that I don't look like a golfer (in golfing garb) when I rock up to the range.

If I go to the range then it is at Belton Woods so I wear whatever I happen to be in but do wear golf shoes.

If I am going to the practice ground at the club then I have to abide by the club dress code as if I were on the course and so it is full golf attire.

Nearest range to me is attached to a private members club and the dress code extends across to the range. So "normal" on-course wear for me. I don't mind as it's what I would normally play in so replicate conditions I guess.

The place is pretty pretentious as a whole but as it has a 4 year wait for membership I don't think the dress code is that off-putting

I also have a pair of shoes that live in the boot. If I go to the range, it's usually on the way home after work so I'll be in a suit, though I don't wear the jacket when I'm hitting balls, obviously.

I probably look like a bit of a plum in my shirt, suit trousers and AQLs. But I'm there to practise hitting golf balls, not to practise wearing clothes.

I have golf shoes in the car, and will change out of work shirt for a polo before leaving the office, stay in the suit trousers and stop on the way home.

I insist on wearing the full Ricky fowler orange ensemble, I don't feel like a golfer otherwise.

I also insist on taking a full pre shot routine (learnt whilst at the pre shot routine academy) before every shot. It takes me 5 hours to hit 100 balls.
