I got 2 keyboards in front of me now (chromebook and a cheapo Trust plug in) and neither have a Euro symbol without heading into shift options.

When we leave the EU...Farage will be about £150,000 better off. Yes of course he deserves it for his dedication and hard work in the EU parliament and especially on the EU Fisheries Committee - when he attended 1 out of 42 meetings. Why only one? he was asked a year ago by Iain Dale - no point - says he - as we are leaving the EU. Nice work and pay off if you can get it - though the most recent intake from the last European Elections will get diddly squat - when we leave the EU - shame...

The good folks of Northampton would be celebrating...
Sad to say that the shoe companies in Northampton have largely sent their production out to China, missing out the EU completely. Even the famous Dr Martens, shoes of quality and high cost, are now produced mainly in China. All very sad. Ironically, when my BiL goes back to China after each visit he sees Chinese people carrying boxes and boxes of Clarks shoes, bought in the UK, made in China but they don't trust their local shops to be selling the genuine product!
I have a customer in the Czech Republic who runs a 60yr old family shoe manufacturing firm. Talking to him in November he exepcts to be closing it down in the next 1 to 2 years. Even a low wage economy like the Czech Republic can not compete with Chinese wages and costs.

I see our Government are spending £120m on Brexit celebrations.
In a country that has starving children, in work poverty, high homeless figures, food banks and severely disabled folk forced to work that just about sums up present UK values to me.
