When looking for various contractors.....

You could insulate under the clad with Celotex or Kingspan.
You looked at pvc clad?

The cost of that would be greater m2 than an insulation render system that would be maintenance free with a 10 warranty and a guaranteed UV value!

Robin, would u suggest moving to render if the top half of your house was wood clad? Mines on the way out and we were just going to reclad, but the thermal properties of the house are crap.. maybe even full render?!

I'm away at Carden Park now, PM your number and I'll call you later and offer you some options, happy to come and view also.

Depends what look you're after, plus if Rooter fancies doing it himself he'd save on labour cost 👍🏻

Have you asked Google to crawl your website? If not, take a look at the guide below.

  1. Go to: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/ and log in
  2. If you haven't already, add and verify the site with the "Add a Site" button
  3. Click on the site name for the one you want to manage
  4. Click Crawl -> Fetch as Google
  5. Optional: if you want to do a specific page only, type in the URL
  6. Click Fetch
  7. Click Submit to Index
  8. Select either "URL" or "URL and its direct links"
  9. Click OK and you're done.
Also, if you havent already, set up a business Facebook page. Make sure that you add your website URL to the Facebook page. The internet needs to know about your website before search engines will push you up the list of search results. These steps certainly helped my wifes website move up the Google rankings. However, that was 4-5 years ago so things may've changed.

plus add a hyperlink in your signature here, the more exposure of your we address the more hits. Will ask my Bro in law robin, SEO is what he does.

Cheers Scott, I've got a search engine visibility add-on with my web builder package but even though that says I've got my sitemaps in place plus other stuff, when I look in my Google dashboard it says I haven't, it's this kind of unsurety that's frustrating not knowing if everything's correctly in place, I can't even claim 1 of my other .com domains for some reason!

I know FB aint your thing Robin but I have friends who get more via FB for their businesses than anywhere else. Worth considering.

my brother in law just said the same thing, and he does SEO for a job! Facebook is where its at for trades..

Just sorted a page for it the other day, you have to have a personal account and then add a business page, I think, so that's what I've just done!

Again it's new and raw so just need to keep adding posts to it daily.

Feel free to follow, like or whatever it is FB people do to help
