I think they are Doppler Radar Putting Alignment Devices: "DRPAD" It sends out a series of bleeps that are reflected from the hole and transmitted to the black reciever in the back of his cap , then sent by 'Bluetooth' (tm) to a micro earpiece he wears. As the bleeps become more of a continuous tone he is advised that the putter is in line. The MK1 will be replaced in 2012 by the MK2 which makes allowances for break and green stimp speed.
