I think they are Doppler Radar Putting Alignment Devices: "DRPAD" It sends out a series of bleeps that are reflected from the hole and transmitted to the black reciever in the back of his cap , then sent by 'Bluetooth' (tm) to a micro earpiece he wears. As the bleeps become more of a continuous tone he is advised that the putter is in line. The MK1 will be replaced in 2012 by the MK2 which makes allowances for break and green stimp speed. (Free to those on annual maintenence or apply for an upgrade cost to TWOODS_DRPAD.com)
DRPAD does not require approval from your club committee due to all components being completely organic and conforming to section 8 of the European Human Rights Bill. Available in Left or Right Handed Versions.
