Whats your longest drive?

Getting on for 400 yards.

But that was on a bone dry course...the course being Kashmir Golf Club, which is at serious altitude. Happy Gilmore stuff!

Mine was 385yds.Par 4 395yds hit the green just last week!!Since then the fade has come into my drive aiming left to counter and it stays straight AHHHHH..

It was the one really good drive I collared with the G15.
I followed that up with a 75 yarder on the 15th

So thats why it has a scuff mark

I genuinely can't remember my longest drive. I can remember my longest 5 iron though. Playing at a place called Kings Norton in B'ham I wanted to lay up on a hole. 219 to the bunker. Pulled out my 3 iron, swapped it to a 4, thought the whole thing through and went down to a 5...then felt safe enough.
Not to be. It landed at it's normal distance and just motored on and on before coming to rest in the bunker. Darn it.

I have a theory about all the "long" drivers.
They are all short people with short legs. A 300yd drive soon becomes 150 when I pace it out

My drives are annoying it either goes a decent length then I 3 putt or do something else that is stupid or I cock it up but then do a great approach shot. Oh well the joys of golfing.

I think I've hit a few close to 300, (warm day, hard fairway), and the other day I hit a cracker right down the middle, switched on my mobile PDA with GPS and, before it had locked onto any satellites, I paced it out. Measured at 240 metres, so I figure that was perhaps 270+.

Usually sub 230 and off the fairway though.

Not going to say the yardage as i know what will be said, but when i played the Roman Road course at Celtic Manor i had 100 yards into the Par 5 3rd (i know this as guy i was playing with had a Skycaddie)..........and yes i made a 6

Well....the pin was just over the bunker on the left and i put it in the bunker and thanks to a plugged lie i took 2 to get out and then an easy 2 putt from about 15ft.
