What's the earliest you could tee off now?

Considering playing a few holes before work now that the weather is improving. Is it too early in the year for me to do it now?

I am aware that when the clocks move forward sunrise is an hour later.

sorry should have been more clear. What time is the earliest you could play in terms of sunlight and it not being dark!

depends where you live really. Where I am in sunny Nottingham the gloaming (one for all you Radiohead fans there) is at about 6.15pm, but no doubt other times are available. Afraid I am not up early enough in the mornings to see when it gets light enough to play.

around here you could get out about 6ish on a clear day maybe just before first signs of light are around 5.30.

Getting up isnt the problem, i'm up @ 6 to go to the gym 3x a week anyway, but this is great news. May try it Friday

I always use this, although in my case it's always for twilight times rather than sunrise. I tend to take the view that the only reason to be awake at 6am is if the party isn't over yet!

Can't think of much worse!! Wet rough, low sun, dew everywhere, finishing before the bar is open....how bad can it get? I'm massively up for "double summer time" and an extra hour in the evening.....but live in hope only I feel.

We teed off at 7.15 on Saturday morning, we'd finished before the cafe opened at 10.30.
Home just as the wife had finished the Asda shop, with all day to do what we pleased.
Love playing early...massive brownie points help too

8:00 - same as every other day of the year. Not allowed to start earlier so as the GKs can do the necessary.
