Hey all, I understand the above card is not the best viewing !

But..if i was,say, a 28 handicapper, what would be my nett score? I was asked by a guy at work what i shot and said 113.

He asked was that gross or net? When he asked what my nett score was i didnt have a clue.

I'm only new to the game and still learning

Hi 113 is your actual gross score, then you deduct your handicap the result is the nett score, to play to your handicap at a course you should aim to make a nett score equal to the par of the course as a rough guide, in your example you shot nett 85

if thats an average sort of card for you, you would be looking at around a 28 handicap. No shame in that we all start there.
