Looks about right to me.
Bad company would ruin even the best course for me. Good company on a golf weekend will go a long way to make up for a poor course. Fortunately when I go on golf weekends I choose my mates, and that sometinmes includes forumers.

I'm with you on this. Course is always top priority and I wouldn't be going away with a bunch of numpties that I didn't like anyway so I'd take it that decent company had already been sorted/agreed prior to committing.
After that then it has to be decent reasonably priced food and accommodation.

Has anyone actually had bad company while playing ?
Sure I've played golf with folk I may not necessarily socialise with or call my buddies but I honestly don't recall ever having "bad company" playing golf...ever.

It was the best 5 putt ever - I think the 4th putt was the one that was the longest as well 😲
