Whats important on a golf weekend to you

course quality and that's it for me

I'm with you on this. Course is always top priority and I wouldn't be going away with a bunch of numpties that I didn't like anyway so I'd take it that decent company had already been sorted/agreed prior to committing.

After that then it has to be decent reasonably priced food and accommodation.
 
Has anyone actually had bad company while playing ?

Sure I've played golf with folk I may not necessarily socialise with or call my buddies but I honestly don't recall ever having "bad company" playing golf...ever.

The thread is about a golf weekend, so it is not just on the course you have to put up with someone. I have had bad company on the course, but not twice with the same person.:whistle:
 
In the spring and summer we go to Scotland and it's for the courses, the towns and the coastal scenery.

Next weekend we're off to Marbella. It's the weather, then the weather, followed by the weather.
