Its just a generalisation Twire as all the chavtastic young-guns who go down the range seem to have TM gear which they update every 5mins in a bid to buy a half decent game of golf. The car itself is a generalisation, every day almost I get people in their low-twenties in here, fellas with pointy shoes (like mine) and flash shirts. They would rather pay £4k for a 10y/o beemer, rough around the edges with 150k on the clock than pay the same for a lovely 2005 mondeo with low mileage and as bright as my daughters eyes.
They buy things for show and nothing else!
I just have real issue with the way TM constantly update or have different evolutions of the same club every 5 minutes. I think it really devalues TM as a brand.
I think that the aesthetics of their gear are generally pretty tacky hence the comment. These new irons look awful, the heads look like a spare-bit that has fallen off of a transformer.
I have to admit though, when it comes to putters, nothing gets close to my TM daytona in my eyes.
I am surprised you play TM anyway, at 47 surely you should be all Pinged up by now
