What training/practice equpiment/gizmo's do you use

god, cud u lot bum all over that v-easy anymore!

Have you tried it?

had a butchers in AG but its not for me.

Fair enough, it's not for everyone.
You're in good company though as Smiffy didn't want one either. ;)

im not having a go at it or anything, just i prefered to practice through developing my own technique, it looks like it forces u to become too stiff, takes the feel out of it a bit

Two of the aforementioned alignment sticks,an eyeline putting alignment gizmo, a squared carpet to practice putting on. Wife getting a bit fed up with that one though !! bag with loads of practice balls.

I've got a Perfactaputt thingy to aim at. I know you can use a coin, coaster etc to putt to but this is a bit more fun for some reason. Also, when you're putting with more than one ball you end up having to aim at different parts of the hole/disc.

It'll do until I'm allowed to dig a hole in the hall.

But you wouldn't want your wonderful invention to be tarnished by being seen Smiffy's bag mate, have you seen him putt? ;)

No offence but £20 is a lot for two sticks glued together ;)

2 plastic extrusions with 16 white markings, 16 yellow markings all screen printed at extremely accurate spacing and 4 white aiming dots, again screen painted.
2 caps, 2 magnets and a 3 piece 70A hinge.
Sent in a great looking box with all instuctional photographs and information included.

How much did you pay for your 2 sticks which are just................2 sticks

I also have a swing setter, which I use to warm up.
I have tour sticks, so my grips dont get wet on the floor in the rain for alignment.
I also have 14 clubs that I use to practise hitting a ball with ;)

I'm contemplating getting an artificial putting green in the back garden, not sure of cost though. ;)

At the driving range:

A score card placed 3 inches behind the ball to encourage me to hit into the back of the ball by missing the card

In the back garden:

A shag bag with lots of balls
An electric fence post as a marker to chip & pitch towards
A border collie to collect the balls and bring them back

The only thing I've got is an ancient rubber "hole" for putting practice on the carpet.

It's basically a circular piece of rubber with a raised edge that deforms when the ball rolls onto it and allows the ball into the "hole" but stops it leaving the other side. It makes a very good target and behaves much like a proper hole as anyhting too fast will still roll out the other side and anything too far off centre will be deflected by the raised edge. I'd like to know if you can still get them because mine is showing its age.
