12am is certainly midnight.. so that would be Thursday night/Friday morning I would think.

With 12hr notation 12:00am is the start of the new day and 11:59pm is the end of the day.
During the last second of the day, the time is 11:59pm.
During the first second of the day the time is 12:00am
Once the clock reads 12:00 (or 00:00) it is a new day.

This is why i use a 24 hour clock. 00:00 is midnight, 12:00 is the middle of the day

''booking in will begin an hour after 11pm 5/12/24
or an hour after 11am on the 6th

Nobody questioning why the organisers would open booking at midnight? Crazy time if you ask me.

Yep well I'll be staying up until 00:01 on Friday the 6th then, with the work alarm going off at 06:00 hours - just so I can book an Open at a course that has been on my hit-list for a while. Beau Desert.
