What is your target for 2014?

To continue my progress, started in march this year, gone from 28 to 19.0 Want to stay there until End of season, Then use the summer to progress and actually have a few lessons. I would like to get to around 14 by end of 2014 season. (March15)

Got my first handicap at the end of the season of 18 so next year my aim is cat 2. Slightly ambitious but my main goal is to enter as many comps at my club as possible and play as much as I can. Hopefully that will contribute to my handicap tumbling. :)

Moved clubs a couple of years ago and the combination of a more difficult course and the fact that I didn't really have a clue what I was doing meant a steady climb upwards.

Decided to bite the bullet and take lessons.

Managed to stop the haemorraging of 0.1s last summer and so far I've played pretty consistently this winter.

Hopefully I'll get it heading the right way in 2014 but as it currently stands, I reckon I'm a far better player than I was originally with a higher handicap to boot.

A 3 shot or better cut is my target and a decent run in the knockout match play singles would be nice.

See my pro more often and look at hitting my irons much more consistently. From the tee and from 100 hundreds in not bad at all, but just let myself down with my second shot.More greens in reg needed.

After a difficult year due to family problems the aim is to play more golf in 2014. Have had over 18 months since I have had a competition score even within the "buffer" zone, so am beginning to get use to 0.1 back. Am currently at 11.0 and am waiting for the annual review which may see me get an increase in handicap. Cannot really argue with that, but if that is the case am looking to work hard to get back or maintain my current handicap.

Baby on the way in Feb so still getting chance to play golf is my main goal!

If I do still manage a regular game, my target is to get down to 14 from a starting point of 17.3. Starts with a lesson tomorrow night!!

I didn't hit my 2013 target... Although I feel I am a much better player, lack of comps and a few poor decisions cost me... I had 2 +.1's and 3 buffers.... Played much lower in friendly rounds tho!!

My target remains at getting to 15 but hopefully can stretch that and see how low I can go..... 10 out of question???

Main thing is to keep enjoying my golf..

Good luck to you all with yours!!

1) be consistent, and don't be lazy with my golf swing when playing.
2) get my handicap down from 17.2 down, aim is to be 10
3) practice at least once a week using a structured practice plan.
4) break 80 at my club (Broadstone GC) more than once :)

Having two lessons a month over the winter months so hopefully start the new season strongly

To get to single figures. I'm playing to it in 'friendlies' just need to make it happen with card and pencil........
