What is the best Value course you have played ?

I was happy to play Royal Troon for £30 with a member.

In my neck of the woods I think a twilight at Piltdown for about £20 is great value.

played Saunton East today in near perfect conditions. It cost £50. I'd happily pay double that. What a course:thup:

Piltdown for £20 sounds like a good deal. It's on my list

Have you played the West yet? I know the East is the main attraction but I actually enjoy the West better, I think the holes have more variety. Wish I could have made the trip down with you guys

Wait for the Summer, its like a sponge otherwise. Millionaires golf for a midweek twilight, always quiet.

Tyrell's Wood for £15 in August.

Lovely course with 4-5 exceptional holes and the greens were superb.

I could beat that on the freebie front! I won't though as it would sound like showing off!

Best value course for me was Tarbert on the Mull of Kintyre.

Seriously???

I've driven past that numerous times on my way to Machrihanish and never stopped. Tarbert itself is a fantastic wee fishing village. Lochgilphead is also meant to be worth playing but again I've not done so to date!
