The lofts are a good club and a half stronger than the Titleist DCI irons I had as a junior and half a club longer than my last set, this is where people think they're getting longer because that number on the bottom goes down but they're not realising that a 9 iron is more like an old 8iron
9i - 39° - 70 m
PW - 44° - 60 m
GW - 49° - 52 m
SW - 54° - 45 m
The distances for the gap wedge and the sandwedge are to be taken with a grain of salt, though. It is very rare that I hit a full shot with those clubs.
My Callaway XR 9 and PW are 30° and 44° respectively
Then I have Cleveland RTX 2.0 CB Gap Wedge and Sand Wedge at 51° and 56° respectively.
The lofts on most irons sets now are so strong you have to know them to ensure you get the right gap wedge.
9 iron at 41 degrees going an average of 121 yards
PW at 45 degrees going on average 100 yards
Gap wedge at 52 degrees going on average 89 yards
SW at 58 degrees going an average of 68 yards
