I'm getting married at the end of July and then going on a 2 week honeymoon to San Francisco, LA, Las Vegas & New York! Pretty much blowing my golfing budget for the first 6 months of this year....

Anyone else got any big plans or things coming up this year?

I'm going to shed a load of weight. Aiming for 4 stone, it's a big ask but i need to. A bit of a "mid life crisis" but rest assured i'm not quite ready to buy a Harley and ride off into the sunset !!!!!

Set up a Charitable Trust in order for me to fundraise to provide more therapy than we can currently afford for my daughter. If successful enough in time I hope, one day, to be able to support other autistic children/families locally also.

Planning to go to Lake Garda in June.

Other than that its stuff of a more mundane nature like getting the windows in our house replaced!

Best of luck pal, I know you'll throw your heart and soul into this and I hope it all comes off for you.

My daughters 21st birthday this year, so looking at a trip to the States. She wants to go to Vegas, and I want to go to Disney Florida.

Having an extension built on the house this year - hopefully.

I'm at the stage now of contacting some builders and getting some quotes done.

On a personal level I started the year with a brand new family gym/pool membership and have so far racked up 2KM.

Really going to work on getting the weight down and live a bit healthier. Had a cancer scare before Xmas and that scared me witless so this is a year to look after myself a bit better. I am not going to be a teetotal, salad munching saint but I need to start cooking a bit healthier, exercising a little more etc

Running the Edinburgh Marathon and the Seven Hills ( which I reckon will be much harder) but currently recovering from a calf tear.Hoping to be able to get back on the bike at least at the start of February.

Taking the family to Orlando in October and that's costing quite an insane amount of money all things considered, so that'll be our only foreign trip this year.

Aye, been quite a few times, but not with my son who's now 10 and hyper doesn't come close to describing his state when discussing Orlando.Gonna leave the bats at home and just go park/shopping crazy.

Good stuff, likewise ive been many times and go every year, my neice will bewith us this year 7 years old and Disney daft, I haven't been to parks in years so its the full lot park wise this year

Lose a few pounds and become more flexible to improve my golf, hoping to have a handicap starting with 7 by the end of the year.

Nothing else major really, got married last summer so save some money for maybe moving house in a few years.

We're planning to do lots of long weekends away around Europe this year to see some places, currently sat in the Maldives waiting for the Mrs to get ready. This is our main honeymoon so no more big holidays this year.
