What are my options

My ball has come to rwst near the out of bounds which is treelined. One of my playomg partners tees of and his ball strikes mine and my ball disappears either out of bound or lost in the trees. We cannot fi d my ball but do know where it was laying before being struck by my playimg partners ball. What are my options?

Change playing partner, that sounds like a slow round if your on the edge of OB and he hits a shot that bad it knocks yours out.

I'd like to know how sure you were the ball was at rest in bounds before coming to this conclusion!? Especially as you were, I'm assuming, stood on the tee box and a long distance away from the ball when this happened.
