Played at Wobrun yesterday as was fortunate enough to win a place in a competition to play there.
What a great day it was from start to finish. Names (David and I) up in lights on a big scoreboard and a gift of 3 Hex Black Tour balls and tees. Breakfast then a pyramid of balls on the practice area (felt like a pro!) followed by 18 holes 4BBB on The Marquess with coffee and treats at the halfway house. The course was very wet having even been closed the day before but I love that course and just didn't want the round to finish. Then followed drinks and canapes before a stunning 3 course meal and prize giving (we didn't need to leave our seats for that)!
A faultless day, played pretty good golf compared to of late and still floating on cloud 9 although not quite so floaty after all that food.
Back to reality today with 18 holes practice round on our even soggier course!
