Played in the Weekday Stableford comp today as I'm off on hols and have two weeks off.
Started off with a Srixon 333 and managed to chop around the first 4 holes, then lost one off the tee on 5. Took out a new 333 and had 3 really bad holes. Couldn't hit it off the tee, couldnt hit it off the fairwar couldn't even buy a putt.
After 8 holes of awful golf I said to my self, come on Phill, get a new one out. So I pulled out an unmarked ball, ink'd it up with my logo. Bam, straight down the middle of the 9th, second shot to 5 foot from the hole.. two putt par for 3 points. Finished front 9 on 11...
Got into my stride, didn't lose this ball and hit 21 points on the back 9....
Dodgy ball or knocked confidence?
