Have had electrics in the past but always liked a wet shave once in a while. Currently wet shaving all the time since I decided to rid myself of the remnants of a hairstyle a few years ago! Actually takes less time and a closer shave to boot. The Mrs uses tweezers!

I use pliers, but only when the blowtorch is out of gas.

Wet shave but tend to only shave once or twice a week as the skin does get sore and sensitive if I shave more than that
I've always wet shaved, but lately have grown a short beard and moustache. Just need to trim it once a week with an electric grooming kit. Far less hassle!

Treat myself occasionally to a proper wet shave, DE razor and posh shaving cream.
Daily used to be a rash-inducing dry shave but I have recently started lathering up with my electric shaver which has cut out the rash and irritation and delivers a superbly close shave.

Mainly wet shave. I do not shave every day so the electric does not do the job. When I do go electric it has to be Phillips. Those 3 whirring blades do a far better job than any foil razor

I used a mob similar last year (Cornerstone) and their blades were ok but not a patch on Gillette

Shaving is a thing I have come to despise. If done properly by a barber etc wet shaving can be a pleasure. Who has the time each day (and my hair grows quick so has to be every day) for a shaving routine like that though? When I was a teenager in the nineties I was loving it as I could cultivate massive side burns which I thought were cool at the time.
When work started and I had to be smart every day, shaving became a right pain in the neck - literally! I therefore used a beard trimmer without a guard on to avoid irritation etc so was never totally 'clean' shaven. This continued until the past year when I grew a beard. Saves me loads of time each morning. However I fear I'll look back on my beard period the same way I do the massive side burn years.

I remember as teenagers trying to grow beards, it actually looked like the beards had been swapped .
I had brown hair with a ginger beard, my fair headed mate had a dark brown beard.

My coopin is rather sensitive to everything but A Wilkinson Sword Hydro 3. The 5 drags too much and everything else is rubbish. I have a rubbish electric shaver for those times when I can't be bothered. I tend to only shave twice a week as I don't grow facial hair very fast. Head hair grows like mad though. Rather it was like that lol.
That Bearded Colonel site looks like a really good system. Those who go through blades like mad would save a lot doing it and the reviews look positive. Thinking about the £10 every 3 month sub myself. I wouldn't use 4 blades in 3 months lol

My skin is very sensitive & the blades on the Bearded Colonel are laid right back but still give a really close shave. If you order some please quote bill5330, they'll give me a fiver!

They don't suck onto your skin like the Gillette ones do they?
wet shave for me, though i only shave prob twice or 3 times a week max, as i hate it.
tried all sorts of electric all rubbish and left my fizzog re raw esp my neck.
had a quick look at the Bearded Coronal, but i spend less than £10 every two months. currently use disposable Gillette 6 pack.

Haven't been clean shaven in over four years. Time saving brilliance! Just run the old beard trimmer through it once a week on a 5 and job done.

Not at all. The blades are laid back so far you can't believe it would shave you at all but they are super sharp & give you an effortless close shave.
