Which are you?

Ever since victor kiam robbed me of my pocket money in the 90's i've never used an electric razor since :D

I'm aware you can pay a lot now for the all singing / dancing tech but is it really worth it over the trusty blade.

Electric. I did the maths a few year ago, see Yanks there is an S on the end, and the cost was covered within a couple of years. The price of blades has got silly and I got fed up of it. Electric is less hassle, I never get cut and they work well. Go on, swap over.

I may be a slaphead on top, but in the chin department, it grows like there is no tomorrow

Electric is OK, like if im on scout camp (Scout Leader) for a few days, but if im at home, then I have to shave twice a day with leccy

whereas with a blade, its a much smoother finish. use an oil so hardly ever get cut (rather like my handicap:) and it lasts all day.

agree the cost of a decent blade is silly, I use Gillette Fusion 5 bladed things, but each one lasts about 6 weeks, so not so bad

Think it helps having good skin, if you are a pimple chops like Rooter then you do what works best for you

Got to be wet.
I've been to turkey the last 3 years on holiday & don't take a razor,a shave with the cut throat is amazing.

Been a Braun man for more years than a donkey. The blade lasts a few months, but at £25 a pop its expensive. I can make 'em last longer but it means shaving twice a day.

Totally agree, smooth as a cue ball and seems to last longer too,
Tempted to buy a cut throat razor but i'd like to keep my exquisite good looks :D

Don't think I'd fancy doing it myself.
I end up cutting my neck to pieces with a Gillette,so a cut throat could get real messy.

Went from wet to dry 4-5 yrs ago, skin suffered initially, but now, way better than wet.

Wet. But not every day. Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's only, unless I'm seeing customers, or I'm on holiday, when I don't shave at all.

Electric just chews my face up, but then I have not tried it for 20 years or so. Not sure how you can try out the new ones, unless you shell out £180 odd. What happens when it's rubbish? Give it away?

My leccy one can be used in the shower, with foam or cream, I did have one that had the Nivea gel pack, but I broke it. I am a baby pre pubescent though, I can shave once a week and still go to work meetings looking smart. Movember is a non starter at the rooter house!! Lol

Went electric over twenty years ago and would never go back. Wet shaving just irritated my skin.
