West Yorkshire Meet?

Hi Fellas,

I play at Oulton in Leeds and was wondering if anybody fancied a meet sometime. I live in Morley (Just outside Leeds) so anywhere in or around leeds would be great. Id be happy to play at Oulton or somehwere else in the region depending on interest and peoples preference?

Nice course Oulton I have played it several times. I am often free midweek if you fancy a game, I play at Leeds Golf Centre in north Leeds.

There are a few guys on here from South Leeds GC who might be along soon to introduce themselves too.

Beggsy Do You play at South Leeds Middleton? I live literally 5 minutes down the road from there and have heard lots of good things about the course (Greens in particular)

I would suggest booking a tee time sooner rather than later as it can get busy. Have u got a deal for hotel and golf? The greens and fairways are protected by well placed bunkers so good positional play is rewarded. If u want a game whilst over let me know, always good to have a knock with someone new

Thanks SB. I've got a deal to stop over with the family for 4 nights B & B at £350 which is not too bad for a 4/5 star hotel and if it's anything like Carden Park which is just 10 mins down the road from me it should be very nice.

I've already booked 3 rounds first thing in the mornings (got to be back handy to go out for the day with the family) and I'm using free round vouchers for De Vere hotels that I've aquired I'm playing 18 holes on Tue 23/8 at 8.00am then 2 x 9 hole rounds the next 2 mornings as there's a pro comp on for a few days meaning the main course will be unavailable. Don't know if you want to hitch up on the Tue morning at 8am for a knock?

The reviews of the golf & hotel are very good but the restaurant ones said it was very expensive so I think we'll be dining elsewhere at night (any suggestions?).
