Came back with a new shiny callaway razr x driver! Whilst HID was mulling over shades of white I nipped into AG next door (Aintree branch in Liverpool) and ended up chatting to the manager about stock shafts as my rbz has been ballooning really high.
He was saying how callaway have really moved on by using high quality stock shafts such as the adila rip and the motore f8. 5 minutes later I was on the track man in their swing room hitting balls! Got some great numbers and a lot better launch angle!
I know AG has had some bad press on here, but the guys at this branch were great. They were not pushy, and we're very knowledgeable about the different driver and shaft combinations available.
Right, off to finish painting the living room....... Serious brownie points required!

I was out in Scottsdale for the last few weeks playing golf. Didn't take my clubs with me and just used rentals.

One of the courses I played a few times had brand new Callaway Razr X irons, Hybrids, Fairways and Driver as rentals.

Never been a fan of Callaway, not sure why, but I was really impressed with these clubs, especially the driver. It was 9.5 with a stock stiff shaft.

I hit it pretty long and straight, plus it seemed pretty forgiving. Nice flight to it as well.

Not chopping in my 910D2 just yet, but will definitely give the Callaway a go when I do.

That could be a plan! Would have to get the pro at our place to do it! Going to see how this flys first! If it goes well these next few weeks could be an rbz for sale soon ;)
