went to a place today in town, they charge £150 for a fitting session and have no brand allegence and just sell what is 'best' for the customer.....most iron sets come out at £600-£1000 and drivers £400 to £500 but they are the exact right fit for the punter - they have cameras, proper speed and spin tracking - it's more than 'custom fit'...
They make the clubs up there and then get them back for a finishing fitting session to know the gear is right...
It goes back to my old adage - pay peanuts and get monkeys....
I don' think a set of £1000 irons is going to improve my game that much more than a £300 set or I am going to drive 10 yards more with a £500 driver, called me tight but some people 'ave more brass na brains.
In my experience it did.
BTW Can you actually buy a set of irons for 300quid?
