......... No I can't beleive it either!
Played Tuesday and shot 74 gross par 68 which was my personal best off the whites around my own track. I did comment that I thoughts I'd left a couple of shots out there, but still a pb is a pb.
Tonight I nipped out with my mates son who hasn't been playing long , he's only 12 and has a hc of 12, we played our neighbouring course which has more punishing rough with greens that are a lot smaller, so again with a par 68 I was thinking anything around 77/78/79 would be spot on
+4 at the turn with 5 bogeys and a birdie I'm feeling good, proceeded to shoot level par from 10-17, with one bogey and one birdie. Got to 18 and I'm convinced a +4 72 round is here.
Drive, perfect! The hole is a slight dogleg right, runs left to right do off my drive goes up the middle with a soft draw and the ball finishes near the bush on the left of the fairway. 95 yards out its a full 52*, back swing catches the bush and I fluff the thing 25 yards max. So a 70 yard up and down is needed, a sweet pitch lands 4 ft short of the pin but runs out the short and baked green. I lip the 25 ft putt back but who cares....
My recent pb lasted 2 bloody days!
What's better is the we chap shot he's pb of 101, and this was played in approx 2hr 50 mins
Awesome awesome awesome!
