I have been struggling with constancy in my swing for a while and ive figured that the main problem is due to leaving my weight on the left side (right handed golfer). I some time manage to sort it out but it always seems to come back.

so does anyone have and drills they'd recommend that might help?

cheers

Ive struggled with this before and have tried a number of things. I note that its worse with me when I try to hit the ball right to left. Its like a 'dont get ahead of it and leave it right' sort of shot. If on the course I try and hit fades as a quick fix - the set up change 'props me up'.

I have tried the following in my time.

Check ball position - make sure its not too far forward.
Make sure you are not gripping up the shaft - have an inch to spare.
At address check shoulders - make them more level as opposed to left high.
Make sure you are not to shut at the top as this would encourage a slide and not a turn back to the ball
At the top 'crush the can'. The first move back is to crush the imaginary can under your left foot.
Half practice swings, working on connection and taking a divot.
Stack and Tilt - on the theory that if you cant shift back why shift at all?

Hope some of these thoughts / suggestions help!
