Weekend in liverpool

Funny place Liverpool. The stereotypes are somewhat warranted, but yet it's also an amazingly friendly place and down the Albert Dock area is really rather nice.

By contrast you have 'super, smashing, great' Manchester, which is actually, outwith the very very city centre (which is stupidly expensive), just one enormous shitehole that doesn't at all have the reputation it actually deserves.

Give me La La land every time.

Couldn’t disagree more,Manc is spot on to go out on the lash.

I'm there in a couple of weeks with the family. Happy to take recommendations for where to eat Tashy. In the centre or out a bit.

We were too late for the exhibition, shame. Enjoy.

Indeed, being drunk is essential to being in Manchester
Especially if your down Deansgate the home of pretty much every drunken night out in Manchester, just try not to end up in Moss Side!!

Always found Liverpool to be decent l, surrounding areas though have some issues worst place I've been up that way though Ellesmere Port what a butt hole of a place that is

There is some beautiful architecture there, often over looked. Liverpool is often used for filming as a stand in for London, circa 19c, the posh bits. If they still do tours they explain this.

Not wanting to get away from the drinking bit, but i thought some of the architecture/ buildings look amazing. 👍

Well spotted Tashy, the city with the most listed buildings outside of London, same with museums and cultural things to do, and THE best night out in the UK for all ages.

Pity the keyboard warriors probably havent been here for 20 years, if at all. Same old faces, with the same old BORING crap.

If it makes you feel better it's chucking it down in the NE as well. It's a band of rain coming across. Just one of them unfortunately. Could be worse, parts of Wales are flooding.

A little tincture in the Philaharmonic pub at the moment. A must for old pub lovers. Odd just found out we had a beer in Liverpools oldest pub yesterday. Ye hole in ye wall.

Enjoy Tashy. Had a few fantastic nights out in Liverpoool in my younger days - found the locals very friendly :p
Missis T taking photos in mens toilets in philharmonic 😳
Joking aside. One of the streets last night walking down from alma de cuba. Ave never seen as many pubs and clubs on a street. Seems the mire it rains. The less you wear here. I really am turning into an old fart.
