Weekend break close to London, ideas?

Cheers for the replies guys, we've opted for princes as it seems for this period availability was limited and we didn't want to go much later in the year.

The last time I played princes it was mid December on a forum meet so hopefully early October should in theory be a lot warmer.

Good choice.

For the price and with the lodge it's tough to beat. Links golf is also a bit of a novelty for most people in the south east!

As for it being warm....good luck....

Have you thought of Foxhills in Woking.. Never played there but apparently has 2 good courses. They could do stay and play. Also, plenty of courses around Woking if you dont stay. It is within 1 hr from Croydon, or there are few B&B or AirBnB around

On another note, played Cranleigh Golf & Country Club this week... absolutely hated it - a bit of a mickey mouse course for my untrained eye.
