2 night golf weekend - recommendations

Evening all

I turn 40 in July so am interested in having a short golf break in either September or November.

I'm hoping to get a group of 8-12 together with a mix of ages. Ideally we'd fly out on a Friday night and play 2 rounds before coming home on Sunday. All flying from London.

Spain and Portugal are obvious choices, but I have no idea what's good in terms of ease of trio etc etc

All thoughts appreciated.... Including costs, I have no idea on this kind of thing.

Anywhere you'd recommend? I'm looking for some sunshine as I have the idilic beer in the sun idea for after the round.

The first thing to consider would be flight costs. Friday Sunday is premium price usually. Also, most the resorts out in Portugal want 3 night stays, so you’d be paying for a day you’d not even use.

Had a quick look.

Basic price looking around 450 I reckon.

It’s approx 170 for the flights, same for budget golf resort. Then clubs usually around 70. Add in transfers or cars.... for such a short time away Id consider playing a couple of top courses nearer to home.
