Wedges set up and recomendation

My PW is 45 degrees so had my cleveland wedges adjusted to 50,55,60 to close the gaps rather than buying new.

This is the same setup as I have except I have ping wedges not Cleveland. I had to get a 56* wedge adjusted to 55* but it's a great wedge even after putting a new shaft in myself last week after fighting with a tree and the tree won!

I would be lost using a pw, 52, 58 set up.

there is too much manipulation going on and in many cases hitting a 58 too hard imo. if I had to get rid of a wedge I would keep it at pw, 52 and 56.

Id just change out the 52 for a 50 , i think you'd be fine once you close that gap .. i wouldnt get too hung up on it tho as we often open and close the faces on the wedges playing different shots , so what it says on the club might not be degree every tme you hit it
Just an opinion tho mate no facts to back that up or anything

And if you are happy to have 2* less bounce (not normally much of a problem at that loft as 52 is often 8*) just get the 52* bent to 50*. So a low cost option too.

bounce can be critical, depending on type of course you predomintaly play; lush, soft parkland or dry links course in addition to, as others have said, stock swing lengths or a more feel/hands player. My PW is at 47 then 52/08, 56/08 and 60/10 as compromise for golf in parks and seaside, the 60 mostly for sand and rapid lofting.
